THE DESIGN REQUIREMENT

Keep the faces monochrome while letting light and the edge carry the colour.

The circular Anagram mark appears across black and white faces. Rather than printing another accent colour on top, the design uses raised clear UV for surface contrast and reserves bright colour for the edge.

One identity, two edge versions

Bright green and pink painted edges create distinct versions without changing the core black-and-white face artwork.

THE PRINTED BASE

Two-sided offset print protected by matt lamination.

The project used two 350 gsm Velvet sheets with CMYK offset printing on both sides. Matt lamination protected the printed surface and created a quiet base for the raised gloss.

Raised on both sides

The clear UV follows the logo on each face. Its effect comes from height and reflection, allowing the same transparent finish to behave differently over black and white print.

PRODUCTION EXECUTION

Print, laminate, join, raise and finish the edge.

The raised masks were registered to the offset artwork and kept clear of the trim. After both faces were complete, the finished stacks received their green or pink painted edge.
