LUXURY BUSINESS CARDS
Luxury business cards built around material and process.
Luxury business cards earn their presence through paper, thickness, relief, reflection and precise production—not through a label alone. This collection brings together our most material-led, orderable constructions for brands, designers and agencies across Europe.

MATERIAL BEFORE LABEL
What makes luxury business cards different?
A convincing card begins with a material and a process that suit the identity. A dense black board can make opaque foil and a blind impression feel architectural. A naturally fibrous recycled sheet can make one restrained letterpress colour more appropriate than several decorative finishes. Raised UV belongs on a printed surface designed to use gloss and height deliberately.
Thickness is only one part of the result. Paper colour, surface texture, the depth available for an impression, foil coverage, line weight and the visible edge all affect how the finished card reads in the hand. Our printing guides explain the production differences, while the Fedrigoni Special Papers site provides wider material context. Current availability and suitability for a particular artwork still need to be confirmed against the chosen product.
THE CURATED RANGE
Choose a luxury business card construction.
These six luxury business cards cover distinct premium routes rather than repeating the same card under different names. White and black Sumo boards support foil and blind impression; the two-foil black card adds a painted edge; full-face foil treats the surface as a metallic field; coloured board makes the paper itself the principal colour; and raised 3D UV creates clear tactile detail over print.
Each product page states its paper, thickness, compatible choices and current price path before purchase. For Duplex, Triplex and the complete active range, use the broader Business Cards collection.

FULL-FACE HOT FOIL
A metallic field, not a small accent
Use large-area foil as a principal surface while keeping fine reverse-side detail legible.
SOLID-COLOURED BOARD
Colour begins with the paper
Select the board colour first, then add compatible foil without printing a colour over white stock.
RAISED 3D UV
Clear height over printed colour
Use controlled gloss and relief over a printed field where the artwork is designed for tactile contrast.
HOW TO CHOOSE
Choose the material before adding the finish.
01 · DYED-THROUGH BOARD
Use the edge as part of the design.
Black or coloured board keeps its colour through the sheet. Opaque foil, blind impression and edge paint can then work with the material instead of covering it.
02 · RELIEF & REFLECTION
Give each process a separate job.
Foil supplies opaque colour and reflection. Letterpress or blind impression supplies depth. Raised 3D UV supplies height and gloss. Combining them only helps when the artwork gives each effect enough space.
03 · NATURAL SURFACE
Let an uncoated paper remain visible.
Recycled paperboard can carry letterpress or foil without hiding its fibres and natural edge. It is a quieter route when texture matters more than a metallic or laminated surface.
REAL PRODUCTION EVIDENCE
See the processes in finished work.
Product specifications explain what can be ordered. Real Projects show how luxury business cards behave with actual identities, artwork and colour decisions. Use them to judge proportion, contrast and surface—not as a promise that every design should use the same combination.
