A rose-gold foil field transforms one face of 1 mm black board, with an uninked pattern pressed into the metallic surface and foil detail on the reverse.

THE DESIGN REQUIREMENT
Give a premium service brand a surface that changes with the light.
GVAK operates in hair and nail care in Mykonos. The card needed to feel polished and tactile, while keeping a clear relationship between a reflective front and the original black board on the reverse.
One material, two expressions
The front is transformed by rose-gold foil. The reverse lets Sumo Nero remain visible, using rose-gold detail as the point of contrast.
THE SURFACE DECISION
A blind pattern adds texture without interrupting the metallic field.
After the large rose-gold area was applied, a separate uninked impression introduced an organic pattern into the foiled face. The effect comes from relief and reflected light rather than an additional printed colour.
Why the black board still matters
The 1 mm dyed-through board gives the card a substantial black edge and provides the unfoiled reverse with its deep, uniform background.
PRODUCTION EXECUTION
Large-area foil first, then controlled blind impression.
The foil field and the uninked pattern were prepared as separate vector masks and separate tools. Their sequence matters: the impression had to create readable depth without breaking the relationship between pattern and reflective surface.
